What I did — Concept, Lookdev & 3D Production

The Plantaris is crafted from O Matter™, Oakley's proprietary material engineered for flexibility, lightweight comfort and durability. Titanium reinforces the frame's structure, while its non-slip design maintains grip even in wet conditions. Every detail is built for adaptability, creating an object designed to perform anywhere, in any condition, for anyone.

To capture the scientific nature of the materials used in the eyewear, the 3D shaders were meticulously developed to reproduce even the most subtle surface characteristics, from the fine grain of the frame's finish to the opaque translucency of the stems.

The lighting approach remained intentionally minimal, focused on defining precise contours and selectively revealing key surfaces to emphasize the glasses' modern, sculptural silhouette.

Visuals were developed with a hybrid pipeline: Nano Banana, GPT Image and Seedance for exploration, collage and clean-up in After Effects, and final product shots rendered with Octane and Cinema 4D.
